Democrats, wake up! Stop the
moveon.org million-dollar spend on Elizabeth Warren. Consider the international threats at stake. Is it really the time for another U.S. senator with ZERO foreign policy experience?
Hillary Clinton may not be the most exciting and dynamic candidate but she has a legitimate resume as Secretary of State negotiating with international leaders and brokering deals.
So, where has Clinton been lately? Too busy swaddling her new granddaughter?
If Hillary Clinton wants to become the next president she needs to stop Warren’s momentum among liberals. The best approach is to respond publicly to the variety of international timebombs.
Start with North Korea. The FBI claims Kim Jong Un and his gang are responsible for hacking into the Sony Pictures server igniting a hack that is still reverberating today.
We all know Bill Clinton would be helping her run the country, therefore he should be providing political commentary about his experience in Pyongyang. Recall that in 2009 the former president went to North Korea on a “private humanitarian mission,” which resulted in North Korea pardoning and releasing two detained American journalists.
That’s an example of how the Clintons can deal with dictators. Maybe one of their aides could post a photo to Twitter showing voters how they have solved problems with this communist country before.
Another recent international predicament Clinton remained silent on was President Obama’s announcement regarding rapprochement with Cuba.
Pointing to a chapter in Hillary Clinton’s book, “Hard Choices,” supporting his move hardly counts as a response. She needs to engage in the foreign policy dialogue — now.
Hillary should hit the national stage and be apart of the conversation about how to keep America a super power. She needs to be willing to criticize President Obama, when necessary, to prove it won’t be another eight years of poor diplomacy.
While Warren makes headlines beating up on Wall Street, Hillary Clinton should knock the wind out of Warren’s presidential sails. Even, compliment Warrenas a great advocate for consumers, but prove the Bay State senator is out of her league when it comes to ISIS, Iran and North Korea.
Taking on those governments and groups takes a different skill set that Warren simply doesn’t have.
